Honda motorbike in Vietnam: How many motorbikes sold a day by Honda in Vietnam? Preliminary statistics show that only in November, the Honda Japanese enterprise sold more than 235,000 vehicles in Vietnam or about 7,850 motorbikes per day on average to the consumer.
At the end of November 2018, Honda sold 235,500 motorbikes in Vietnam, an average of 7,850 vehicles per day. This amount decreased slightly (3%) from the previous month, but increased to 8% over the same period last year. This is an important figure when the motorbike market in Vietnam is changing: From the use of the motorbike as the essential means to the use of larger vehicles at a higher cost. There are more and more big brands like BMW, Kawasaki, Triumph…not to mention Yamaha, Piaggio (with Agusta and MotoGuzzi) and Honda itself is boosting the production of high-capacity vehicles.
But, at the same moment, other companies such as Yamaha, Piaggio, SYM...all of which are in the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMM) have not announced the number of vehicles sold in November. They only disclose information quarterly.
The best-selling Honda motorbikes in Vietnam belong to the Vision series, reaching nearly 51,600 vehicles, accounting for 22% of this company's sales. At the same time, especially among motorbikes with speed, the best-selling model is Wave Alpha with the cheapest bikes, reaching nearly 38,800 vehicles, representing 16% of Honda's sales.
Thus, for 11 months of the 2018 fiscal year, Honda supplied 1,743 million motorbikes in Vietnam, an increase of 11% over the same period, not including about 13,328 vehicles for export.
