Similar to the Suzuki Katana from 1981, Suzuki Katana 2019 was also born in Europe by designer Rodolfo Frascoli. After succeeding with many famous brands such as Moto Guzzi or Triumph, Frascoli reinvented the legendary GSX-1100S Katana on the new model.

Katana 2019 is equipped with KYB shock absorbers with a cylinder diameter of 43 mm that can adjust the load. The rear shock absorbers can also adjust the weight. The front disc brakes use the four-piston Brembo monobloc brake pads on the GSX-R1000 but equipped with ABS technology.
